Somatic Experiencing®


This gentle, body-based therapy developed by Dr. Peter Levine helps you tune into physical sensations and release the tension and trauma stored in your nervous system. By calming your body’s natural stress response, we build a foundation of safety so you can begin to feel grounded and fully present.

Medical Intuition


Using my intuitive abilities, I connect with your energy field to sense where imbalances, blockages, or unresolved wounds may live. This insight guides us in uncovering hidden layers affecting your emotional and physical health, allowing for a clearer and deeper healing process.

Hypnotherapy


Through deep relaxation, hypnotherapy works with your subconscious mind to release limiting beliefs and old patterns. It’s a gentle yet effective way to heal emotional wounds, reduce anxiety, and access the inner resources needed to create meaningful change.

What Happens to the Soul in Complex Trauma?

Complex trauma can deeply affect the core of who we are—our soul, or our true self. When trauma happens, it can make us lose touch with our personal power, wisdom, and intuition. We might start hiding parts of ourselves, struggling to be authentic, and having a hard time forming healthy, joyful relationships.

How Healing Impacts You:

What is Medical Intuition?

 

Medical intuition is the ability to perceive information about the body’s health and energetic state beyond what traditional medical tests can show. As a medical intuitive, I tune into your body’s energy and subtle signals to identify areas of imbalance, blockages, or trauma that may be affecting your overall well-being.

This intuitive insight helps reveal the root causes of physical or emotional challenges, guiding you toward healing on multiple levels. Medical intuition is not a replacement for medical diagnosis or treatment but a complementary tool that supports your body’s natural ability to heal.

Through this work, I offer guidance that can empower you to understand your body better, listen to its wisdom, and take steps toward deeper health and balance.

What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, body-focused approach to healing trauma and stress. It helps you tune into the sensations in your body—the way your nervous system is responding—so you can safely release stored tension and overwhelm.

Trauma often gets stuck in the body, causing symptoms like anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or physical pain. Somatic Experiencing works by helping your nervous system complete the natural responses that were interrupted during those difficult experiences. This helps restore balance and a sense of safety inside you.

Through this process, you learn to reconnect with your body’s wisdom and build resilience, so you can feel more calm, grounded, and present in your life. It’s a compassionate way to heal from the inside out, at your own pace.

Where are sessions held? 

All sessions are held online through Zoom or in person in Toronto.

How is this different from Psychotherapy?

Licensed therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental illness, trauma, depression, and other mental health issues that may be impacting your life. I believe we are not our diagnosis, and work with you compassionately to achieve goals, improve relationships, identify obstacles, and bridge the gap between where you are now and the future you envision for yourself.

You can expect that every session we will dig deep, beneath the surface of who you believe and present yourself to be.
